​El futuro pertenece a quienes creen en la belleza de sus sueños

Al trabajar con niños, hay algo extraordinario que sucede cuando nos reunimos en un espacio a crear, Magia! No me refiero a actos de desaparición o conejos que salen de repente de sombreros, pero si, a la capacidad de asombro, de cuestionarse  y  estar abiertos a todas las posibilidades. Esa chispa energética que alimenta cada fibra de mi ser. Cada técnica nueva es un experimento científico que dispara su imaginación que no conoce limites.
 
Esta el niño silencioso, que esta siempre atento a todo lo que sucede, esa niña que no puede quedarse quieta y que al trabajar con Action Painting florece. El que solo quiere que lo abracen, el que quiere siempre que todo sea justo, las dos mejores amigas inseparables. Ese pequeño de mirada seria al que por fin le sacas una sonrisa y sabes que esa clase la sacaste del estadio! La niña que todo lo sabe como Hermione Granger, o la etérea que anda por las nubes y va imaginando mundos fantásticos…y que alegría es siempre tenerlos a todos dispuestos a ayudar.
 
Ahora que estamos en casa me han hecho mucha falta sus abrazos, mis regalos de hojitas y flores del jardín y el sonido de sus voces alegres. A través de las clases en línea he conocido nuevos pequeños artistas. Sus sonrisas y creaciones fantásticas hacen que todo valga la pena. He de confesar que es una dinámica diferente, pero de alguna manera extraña logramos conectarnos a través de una pantalla mientras creamos, imaginamos y soñamos acerca de nuestras creaciones y mucho más.
 
Hay un vinculo que se crea a través del tiempo y la creatividad con cada niñ@, quien por medio de cada proyecto deja evidenciar su alma. Cada uno de estos seres libres están llenos de alegría. L@s niñ@s son más recilientes  y flexibles de lo que les damos crédito. Aunque se supone que somos nosotros los que debemos enseñarles, las mayores lecciones de mi vida las he aprendido de est@s maestr@s.
 
Mi misión, por ahora es mantener esos espíritus libres y alegres,  guiados de la mano del arte y de su imaginación sin limites. Para que tanto ellos como yo, sigamos creyendo en la belleza de nuestros sueños.

When you work with children, there is something that happens every time everyone is in a room creating, Magic! I don’t mean disappearing acts or rabbits coming out of hats, but the capacity of the children to wonder and be open to every possibility. That child like energy that fuels every fibre of my being.
Every new technique is like a science experiment that triggers their imagination that knows no boundaries.
 
 
There is the quiet child who is so aware of everything that is happening, that little one who just cant sit still and action painting is just the best. The one who just wants to be cuddled, that kid who wants everything to be fair, those two best mates who just have to sit together every time, The one with a very serious face that when you get them to smile, you know you’ve nailed it. The kid who knows every answer, the ethereal one, who is up in the clouds always imagining fantastic stories… and you can always count on so many keen helpers.
 
Now that I’m homebound and I’ve longed for the hugs, little leaves or garden flower presents and their joyful voices.
I’ve gotten to know some children through our online lessons. Their smiles and their marvellous creations have made everything worthwhile. It’s a different dynamic. Through that screen somehow we connect as we are all creating, we are imagining and we dream of our creations and so much more.
 
There is a bond that is created through time and creativity with each child, who through each lesson gives you a glimpse into their souls. Every one of their free spirits and beautiful souls carry peppy smiles. Children are more resilient and adaptable than anyone can give them credit for. Even though we are meant to be teaching them, the biggest lessons in life I’ve learned from them.
 
For now my mission is to keep those spirits running wild and free, led by the hand of art and their wild imagination. To keep them and myself believing in the beauty of our dreams.
